About Us

RT Cuesports was founded in 2024 by Australian, former Professional Snooker Player, Ryan Thomerson. Snooker has been a huge part of Ryan's life since starting playing at age 11, after moving from the UK to Melbourne, Australia with his family. After unfortunately dropping off the World Snooker Tour at the end of the 2023/24 season Ryan is playing on the top amateur circuit to try and regain his spot back on the WST. Whilst having a busy schedule a passion for snooker, Ryan had always wanted to become a coach and help other players be the best they can be. After completing his WPBSA (World Professional Snooker & Billiards Association) Level 2 1st4Sport qualification in 2025 Ryan offers 1:1, group and online coaching to anyone across the globe from beginners, through to top professional players. 

The reason behind starting a cue sports company was to help provide products which are affordable, but without compromising on quality. We have many different products, across different price ranges so that there is something for everyone! We have products ranging from tips, to ball cleaning machines, to cues of different specifications. Our products are ones that are both important and necessary for you and your game.

Another reason for starting RT Cuesports was that we can understand how hard it can be to find the perfect cue for you. This can be a painstaking task and we are here to assist you. With 20 years of experience in snooker, we have great knowledge to help you find what you're looking for. The added bonus is our try before you buy service, which is perfect to help you find

 

We stock our own branded cues under our RT Cuesports badge, which are hand made in Thailand by top cue makers. These are made to specifications which have been chosen by us to perfectly suit either snooker or pool. We do occasionally stock some second hand cues and are happy to source specific cues that you are looking for. Please get in contact with us for more information. 

Our cue ranges:

  • Timeless - This range of cue comes as a 3/4 jointed cue or one piece. These are our more affordable cues but quality is not lost. These are still made to high quality specifications that are chosen by our team. These come in either English pool or snooker specifications. These are our most popular cues for the reasons above. 
  • Majestic - This range of cue comes in both 3/4 jointed or one piece. All shafts are chosen by our team for a finer detail. 
  • Imperium - This is our top of the range cue, all the shafts are selected by the team and all specifications. Only available as a 1 Piece Full Shaft.
  • Bespoke - For the players who want a tailor made cue. We will ask you about your specification requirements. You will also be able to choose your own shaft from pictures to make sure your happy with the look of chevrons and under belly. 

We sell many products and do not exclusively stock products for snooker players. We also have products for English Pool and Billiards so that players of every discipline have a great choice of cues and accessories.

We also supply various table cloths including Strachan West of England. This includes Number 10 World Championship Cloth to the standard tournament 6811 Gold Club Cloth. Although we try and stock as many items as possible there may be some that are specially ordered for customers and not seen on our website.
