Professional Snooker Coaching

Ryan Thomerson is now offering 1-1 or group coaching to all ages and abilities. Ryan is a current WPBSA 1st4Sport Level 2 qualified coach with an up to date enhanced DBS working with children & adults check, as well as being fully insured for the added peace of mind. 

Ryan is a former Australian Professional snooker player from the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons on the World Snooker Tour. Ryan also now currently competes on the top amateur circuit travelling the globe and achieving great results, with the aim of regaining his professional tour card in the coming seasons.   

Over the past 2 years Ryan has been coaching from local clubs but is now excited to be able to offer private coaching in his own private snooker room at the RT Cuesports Showroom just outside Ely, Cambridgeshire.

The room boasts a BCE Westbury Steel block professional table with 24/7 heating and was recently re-rubbered to current Star templated pockets. The BCE Westbury tables were used from 1987-1992 on the World Snooker Tour. 

Ryan can work with all abilities, from beginner players wanting to learn the basics, right through to top professional players looking to improve performance and gaining that edge to push them to better heights of the game. 

Coaching prices for lessons at RT Cuesports showroom start at £50 per hour. This includes free tea and coffee and a bottle of water. You will also receive a overview of the lesson via email within 48 hours of the lesson, and routines to work on.  

If you are unable to travel and would like coaching, Ryan can also travel to your nearest table (please note that travel charges apply).

Ryan is also now offering coaching to anyone across the globe or national bodies that are looking for coaching to help improve their national players before travelling to international events. This can also be offered virtually via video-call.

We operate the showroom on a appointment only basis as we feel this gives a better customer experience when looking for the right cue/products or having your coaching session. We do however understand peoples hours differ with work, so we can usually accommodate later hours on some days which can all be discussed.
